The following fees for using space for the Campus of First UMC - Pulaski, hereafter referred to as First UMC, are guidelines and may be subject to change based on the length of an event, the size of the group, and the kind of community organization requesting space use. We ask that organizations which can donate more to support the ministries of First UMC to consider doing so. If your organization is providing an important service in our community and cannot afford the amounts listed, we are open to discussing a sliding scale fee.
Anyone using any of First UMC’s buildings is responsible for setting up and taking down tables and chairs, sweeping up food debris, and taking out any garbage and recycling. Cleaning fees may be added for larger and/or longer events to ensure the cleanliness of bathroom(s), tables, floors, etc., to be good stewards of the space and prepare for the next group.
The use of alcohol or tobacco is strictly prohibited on First UMC - Pulaski’s campus.
The entity and persons using First UMC's space will be financially responsible for any damage or loss of property that occurs during the event.
Monthly
Community groups may inquire about licensing First UMC's space on a monthly basis. This allows an organization to book space in the building without an additional fee and enter into a relationship as a ministry partner with First United Methodist Church - Pulaski. Special events, such as weddings, funerals, conferences, and more will come with an additional fee.

Smaller Events (25-50 people)
Small community events, organizations, and private events may request the use of our space. Prices may change depending on the size of your group or length of time. Your rental fee covers the cost of the space for three hours and gives you access to tables, chairs, sound systems, etc.

Large Events (51+ people)
Organizations and private groups are welcome to host events in our building. Prices may change depending on the size of your group and the length of your event. Your rental fee covers the cost of the space and gives you access to tables, chairs, sound system, etc.

Payment Method & Schedule
Fees may be paid by check or cash. To pay, contact the church office to schedule a time to pay in person.
A non-refundable deposit of half the fee or $200 (whichever is greater) is required to secure the space and is due two weeks prior to the event. Any cancellations will result in a forfeiture of the deposit. If the event is canceled due to inclement weather or is canceled by First United Methodist Church - Pulaski, the whole fee, including deposit, will be returned.
Cleaning Policy
We are happy to provide a space for people from all walks of life. We ask that every group who uses our building keeps in mind that this is a public space, and that there are events at The Table and First UMC every day.
The cleaning fee is required for all parties, regardless of size. Guests should not leave the church in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning (moldy dishes, soiled carpets, stains and spills, etc.). Cleaning fees set by the church are only meant to cover the cost of standard cleaning between events.
All parties must take trash to the dumpster, turn off lights, and put away all tables and chairs. Excessive issues with cleanliness may result in your party being unable to use the space in the future.
NOTICE: The use of alcohol or tobacco on our property is strictly prohibited.
The terms "rent", "rental", and “fee” are used for the sake of brevity and clarity. The building is not actually rented. To utilize our space, we ask for a small donation to cover the maintenance, utilities, and materials used during your time in the building.
Our willingness to share our building is an extension of our sense of mission, and we seek primarily to provide an affordable space for community enriching events in Pulaski, TN. First United Methodist Church - Pulaski cannot and will not provide space to entities that are strictly for-profit or are political in nature. Entities requesting building space must align with our mission statement. All organizations or entities wishing to use our space must provide a means to improve the lives of the church community and the broader community.
